One of our many excellent Open Source Solutions is the ZYBERT Z1 GEM Server. The Z1 is based on Open Source Software and built on first class selected hardware. There are no licenses to buy for additional users - no matter how many people access this server. The Z1 also comes complete with a fully automatic backup system. The backups are made to removable disks, which are bootable. There is no need to restore data from tapes or CDs or to re-install software if something goes wrong. Simply insert your backup disk and re-boot. It's that simple!
The Archiving utility automatically creates archives of files and directories where changes have taken place since the last backup. It runs automatically every night before the backup and makes it possible to recover a file from any date since you first started archiving with your Z1.

Your network will be up and running in less than 5 minutes and all your data will be intact.

Automatic Recovery: your archive disk - either internal or 'off-site' - can be simply plugged into the replacement server. The server will start and in less than 5 minutes you are back. This protects your system not only against disk failures or hardware failures but also against a total loss of your IT infrastructure. We can deliver a replacement server immediately and together with your 'off-site' disk it gets you back into business.
